Your income rides on the value YOU place on what you do and then what your ideal clients place on what you do. It's about how you price your services, package them, and valuing your time. Why do they do this? There are many books written about the psychogy of money problems and you can assess your psychosis as much as you want but it won't do you much good. What you need to do is seperate yourself emotionally from the price you charge to acturately set our rates and create packages that your prospects' will want. And you need the confidence (and skills) to charge what you deserve, which, believe it or not is the easy part, because we'll provide you with the skills proven to that raise your confidence.
So many business owners are underpaid because they take on any client that breaths-- even if they know in advance that the client will be a "client from hell." Why? because they need the money... because they're underpaid and working harder, not smarter.
How do I know that's true? Well, I used to be an under-earner. I will never forget the day I made a major shift from working harder to working smarter. I was working with a client who wanted to double her income and work one day a month. After 9 months she was working one day and her income had gone from 8 million per year to 14 million. How much did I make helping her facilitate these great results? Maybe you're thinking that a couple of hundreds of thousands would have been mhy fee. Well, I made less than eight thousand dollars. That's 8 thousand dollars for helping another business owner increase their income 6 million dollars! Don't get me wrong now... I was very, very happy at her results. So through a lot of trial and error, within the next year, I increased my pricing strategies close to 50%.
