Who else is ready to create persuasive business proposals that get results—more money, more clients, more speaking gigs?

Has this happened to you? You're talking to a prospective client and everything's going great. They're very receptive to what you're saying and then they say, "Sounds good. Can you send me a proposal?" Thud! Many people dread hearing those words because they don't know how to write a proposal. It's a necessary part of being in business, though, and the good news is, it's not that hard to do!

Or maybe you're already sending out proposals, countless proposals, but your rate of return acceptances is not where you'd like it to be. Now, you have the opportunity to learn the secrets of great proposal writing in Proposal Writing for Business Made Easy -- Really! on Wednesday, June 4 at noon EDT/9AM PDT AND also offered at 8PM EDT/5pm PDT. We'll share with you how to put your best foot forward when preparing your proposal – and how you can present it on only 1 or 2 pages – really!

Let's face it - business proposal writing is a fact-of-life for most business owners. This approach to writing persuasive proposals covers what needs to be covered - and no more – and it can be completed on one or two pages. And for a busy executive who's faced with a pile of proposals, this format makes your proposal get noticed and read!

This teleseminar, part of my Monthly Eat, Educate & Empower series, means you can learn from the comfort of your home or office. I've asked copywriter and voice persuasion maven Karen Kanakanui to share her process for turning your thoughts, information, and words into proposals that will get you that next speaking gig, client, or consulting engagement.

Three years ago, Karen took my thoughts and words and created a master proposal for me to use to offer my on-site classes and seminars. This proposal has been accepted by several nationwide, multi-million dollar corporations and not-for-profits. It's great to have a le document that I can use over and over again – in fact I've used it for more than 50 proposals in the last six months!

I've managed to convince Karen to come and share with us her secrets for proposal writing. Here's a sneak preview from Karen!

==============

Thanks, Maria, for inviting me to be part of the Eat, Educate & Empower series. I've spent years of working with a variety of formats and styles for proposals (some of which required lots and lots of pages defining the problem, solving the problem, and budgeting the solution). NO MORE!

These days, I'm using a great new way of writing proposals based on the journalism principle of answering the questions "who, what, where, when, why and how." It's easy and helps you craft a proposal that fits on no more than two pages—and it gets results!

Listen, we live in an information-overload society, and most key decision makers - which is who you want to reach with your proposal, right? - don't have time to read 50 pages of charts, graphics, justifications, costs, etc.

Here's just some of what you'll learn in our 90 minute call.

  • How to create a short, powerful proposal that covers all the important points – but not one sentence more!
  • How to put yourself in the mind of the decision maker so your proposal speaks directly to him or her.
  • The key points that must be covered to maximize your chances of success.
  • The importance of personalizing your proposal to each company you send to.
  • How to "short-hand" your credentials so you are succinct, but credible.
  • How to decide if you need to create a proposal.
  • The biggest mistake most proposal writers make (Hint: People make the same omission in many sales letters, websites, etc.)
  • A too-often overlooked close that leads to great results.
  • How to write when you're not really sure what the requirements are.
  • Discover which parts of your proposal need to incorporate fundamental marketing principles – and where it may be a mistake to use them.
  • What industries this approach will NOT work for – yes, there are some!
  • How to communicate "value" for your proposal without giving the recipient so much specific detail that they can turn around and shop your proposal to other vendors for pricing (yes, it does happen!)

And here's the best benefit of all: Once you learn this simple system, and have created a proposal that works, you can use it over and over again as you move your business forward. Once you have some standard text that works, you'll save time and effort with each new proposal you create.

The feedback my clients provide me on this approach is amazement that their proposal can be captured in this simple format - and then "thanks" when their proposals are accepted!

Join us on June 4 at either 9am PST/Noon EST or 5pm PST/8PM EST, for Proposal Writing For Business Made Easy -- Really! and let me show you how easy it is for you to work with this format. Bring your breakfast, lunch or dinner, as the case may be - and let's learn!

And really, how much is it worth for you to have even ONE more of your proposals accepted in the future based on this information? A speaking engagement for $5,000? A half-day on-site class at a major corporation for $2,000? A client who chooses a coaching program worth $1000/month?

Yes! I'm ready to have more proposals accepted and approved!

I understand I'll be registered for one 90-minute call featuring an easy-to-follow formula for creating persuasive business proposals that can make my business a huge success!
